New York restaurant Indochine is known for being a hotspot for celebrities throughout the decades, and now it has opened its first international outlet in Dubai.
Located in DIFC, Indochine is a French-Vietnamese concept with tropical décor and Martinique wallpaper, and the Dubai outlet will also have the trademark red neon Indochine sign adorning its entrance.
Diners can expect chef Steven Nguyen to offer up the likes of Vietnamese ravioli made with rice noodles, chicken, shrimp, and shiitake mushrooms; lamb char siu, slow cooked lamb neck in a honey glaze; and amok cambodgien, steamed sea beam in banana leaf, coconut lemongrass custard, chili sauce, scallions, and ginger.
Indochine has been brought to Dubai by VKD Hospitality, which also operates Miss Lily’s in the city, and its founders Khalil Dahmash and Varun Khemaney said in a statement: “We are beyond excited to introduce Indochine to the region. We strongly believe that we will not just replicate the energy that Indochine brings with its brand and style but will alsobecome a treasured hotspot with the ever-evolving fashionable crowd of DIFC.”
Its New York location has been open since 1984 and has been frequented by everyone from Cindy Crawford and Andy Warhol to Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner.
