Warner Bros. is opening its first-ever hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The property will open alongside Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, which opened its doors earlier this summer on Yas Island. The attached hotel, rumoured to cost US$112 million to develop, will feature 250 rooms on eighty levels, a spa and fitness club, rooftop pool and restaurants.
It’s part of Warner Bros. major expansion into the UAE and a large part of Yas Island’s attempts to become a major resort and holiday destination. According to sources within the construction industry, the hotel is currently hallway complete.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi covers 1.65 million square feet and features 29 rides and attractions across six different areas. Those include Metropolis, Gotham City, Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch and Warner Bros. Plaza.
At the park, characters such as Batman, Scooby-Doo, Bugs Bunny and The Flintstones all co-exist together under one roof.
Paramount Pictures has also announced plans to hope its first hotel later this year in Dubai. That property features suites themed after The Godfather and The Great Gatsby.
