Any watch made in collaboration with DJ Snake was never going to be a subtle one, but with the Big Bang DJ Snake, it seems that the luxury Swiss watchmaker has done a rather impressive job in capturing the character of one of the world’s most in-demand DJs.
Limited to only 100 timepiece, the watch is extravagant, extrovert and impossible to ignore.
The case-material’s glimmering reflections are obtained via a complex procedure called the “Newton effect”, which involves painstakingly precise orientation of components in certain positions to achieve the desired colour.
“I was particularly interested in creating a watch that looked like me,” says DJ Snake. It seems that Hublot has done just that.
