Hublot is no stranger to covering its watches in bling; but it appears to really enjoy the rainbow motif.
The latest version of the Big Bang Unico Full Baguette King Gold Rainbow blends high-end horology with jewellery, with a case set with 290 precious stones in a rainbow technicolour array.
The 45mm case is crafted from 18K pink gold that Hublot says helps highlight the composition of the rubies, pink sapphires, amethysts, blue sapphires, blue topazes, tsavorites, and yellow and orange sapphires.
There are more than 112 baguette-cut gems on the bezel alone.

Under that sparkly hood lies the UNICO manufacture HUB1242 chronograph flyback movement, with a double-clutch mechanism and a column wheel for more accurate timekeeping.
To stick with the rainbow theme, Hublot chose the watch to sit on a textural multicoloured alligator strap. The buckle too features an additional 30 gemstones in the same colours as those on the dial.
The Big Bang Unico Full Baguette King Gold Rainbow (which to hammer the point home once more, is covered in 24 karats of gemstones) costs US$348,000.
