Virgil Abloh’s creative influence has now spread as far as Louis Vuitton’s timepieces.
The latest Tambour watch has Abloh written all over it, and the Tambour Damier Graphite Race draws influence from the LV creative director’s penchant for bold, striking hues.
The fluorescent-accented black strap can be swapped out for an even more bold green version, and those colours can also be spotted on the dial. The case itself is made from graphite-black PVD with a smoked grey sapphire caseback.

The Graphite Damier pattern also sit on the dial, below the indices and the hands. You also get a bright green ‘V’ for Vuitton on the face.
The new Tambour Damier Graphite Race costs 41.5mm in diameter for the regular automatic, and a larger 46mm for the chronograph version. The watch range starts at US$5,750.
It is available at select boutiques starting this week.
