The world’s thinnest watch gets a new ‘space-aged’ dial at SIHH 2019

Piaget has continued its love affair with skinny watches this year, with new models from its Altiplano range. The dial, however, is literally out of this world.

Featuring a distinctive meteorite dial tinted in grey, the 40mm Altiplano watch has a pink gold case with matching baton hour markers. The textured dial has a simple two-hand time indicator, plus a date aperture at the 3-o’clock position.

Like all Altiplanos, this one is powered by an in-house manual movement that measures just 3-millimetres (one of the thinnest movements in all of watchmaking) and sits on a grey alligator strap.

It’s limited to just 300 pieces.
