It’s pretty well agreed upon that Casio’s G-Shock series can survive just about anything (after all, a G-Shock survived a 44-kilometre fall from space). But now it’s got an additional skill set that makes it tougher than ever before; a suit of armour.
The G-Shock G-Steel Watch Collection now features a durable double-layer bezel made of shock-absorbing resin and stainless steel, making it extra tough. There’s a built-in solar panel under the hood, which is capable of turning even the weakest sun rays into power for the rechargeable battery.

The watches also boast a double LED light, an automatic calendar, dual dial with World Time function, and water resistance to 200 metres.
Of course, these tough watches are also smart. Some of the series boast Bluetooth connectivity, that links up to your smartphone for ultra-precise timekeeping.
