In a collaboration that spans from California to Paris, Vans and Karl Lagerfeld have teamed up to create a 12-piece capsule collection that was revealed a few days ago at the Bread & Butter trend show in Berlin.
The collection stays classic, sticking to a two-toned palette in black and white. It includes a t-shirt and sweatshirt with the Vans x Karl Lagerfeld logo; a t-shirt with an image of Karl Lagerfeld wearing a checkerboard tie; a black and white raglan bomber; a leather backpack with K-quilted stitching; and a cap with a checkerboard brim.

The shoe range features updated Vans designs, replacing the signature checkerboard pattern with KL’s cameo silhouette motif.

“This exciting collaboration is a fusion of Vans’ classic style and Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic design,” said Angie Dita, Vans Senior Footwear Designer. “Working in close partnership, our teams designed this collection to reflect the unique histories of our respective brands.”

The exclusive collection will be available at select Vans and Karl Lagerfeld stores, as well as online at vans.com and karl.com, from September 7.
