What happens if you mix disruptive fashion, thunderous beats and Emirati heritage? You get Qasimi at SOLE DXB.

The London based fashion label is making its debut this weekend at SOLE DXB 2024, running from December 13 to 15.

With a distinct focus on cultural exchange and connection, the brand has crafted some of the most disruptive, eye popping pieces in recent memory, and they’ll be on full display at this end of the year bonanza in Dubai’s Design District.

The presentation stage, designed in collaboration with final-year Interior Design students from the University of Sharjah’s College of Fine Arts and Design, this will be a volcanic explosion of sartorial creativity.

A Unique Design and Curated Collections for SOLE DXB 2024:
The QASIMI installation will display three collections within a repurposed, industrial-inspired structure of galvanized steel, symbolizing the brand’s commitment to both artistry and sustainability.

  • Rising Sun Capsule Collection: Exclusive relaunch at SOLE DXB, this collection explores themes of hope and daily renewal, embodied by the symbol of the Rising Sun. The capsule includes track jackets, joggers, and baseball caps with Arabic side tape reading “Every sun has to set – to rise again,” capturing the cyclical beauty of each new day.
  • Palestine Collection: A dedicated section of the stand, shaped in a cutout resembling the land of Palestine, will feature the brand’s iconic “Don’t Shoot” T-shirt and Palestine hoodie, symbols of solidarity and resilience.
  • Qasimi x Buzigahill Collaboration: In partnership with Uganda-based designer Buzigahill, QASIMI introduces a collection of repurposed denim pieces. Each garment, created from past QASIMI collections, has been deconstructed, distressed, and hand-washed to achieve a unique, one-of-a-kind look. This collaboration symbolises the journey of upcycling and the powerful narrative of clothing returning to the Global North with new life.
