Sole DXB, one of the most anticipated events of the year, returns to the Dubai Design District (d3) on December 13-15, 2024. Last year’s event, which featured some of the most legendary names in hip hop – both globally, and from the region – was a plethora of culture, arts, skateboarding, fashion, music, food, and the best vibes Dubai has to offer.
And for their 12th anniversary, one can only speculate as to what they’ve got in store.
Last year, 2023, the festival joined forces with Nas-backed entertainment company Mass Appeal, as the official partner for Hip Hop 50 in the Arab world.
Past performers and guests have included the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Jorja Smith, Big Daddy Kane, Oddisee, Tobe Nwigwe, Koffee, Sho Madjozi, Bas, Stormzy, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Petra Collins, Scottie Pippen, Kerby-Jean Raymond, Central Cee, Bas, Marwan Pablo, Omar Offendum, Khadija El Warzazia, Nadine El Roubi, Rapsody, Mumu Fresh and more.
Although no official artists and performers have been announced for this year’s upcoming, considering their successful track record, one can assume we’ll be in safe hands. So long as there’s an endless selection of good food and thumping music, we won’t complain.
