There are perhaps two things most synonymous with the everlasting legacy of Esquire: immaculate attire, and fast cars. At the F1 races, people are often equally captivated by what people are wearing in the crowds as they are by the cars themselves. But rarely do the two symbiotically connect, especially with such perfection. Yet here we are, with the most unexpected yet, somehow, the most obvious collaboration we’ve seen in a long time: Levi’s X McLaren.
Levi’s – EST 1983, the originators of jeans and perhaps most synonymous with icons like James Dean – and McLaren – synonymous with some of the best machinery on the planet and often alluded to F1 legend, James Hunt – have delivered a collection so obvious we’re actually upset they didn’t give it to us years ago.
With special made jean jackets, t-shirts, 501 jeans, racing gloves, racing bandana and, naturally, an entire denim Formula One style jumpsuit, every single piece will make you want to watch Rush (2013) on repeat until Brad Pitt’s F1 finally comes out next year. But if you don’t show up to the premiere wearing this jumpsuit, we’re going to be disappointed.

Never before have two legendary icons on opposite sides of the spectrum delivered such an instantly classic collection.
James Dean and James Hunt – it was clearly already written.
The collection is exclusively available in store at The Dubai Mall and online.
