The long awaited trailer for director Joseph Kosnikski’s F1 has finally arrived. Starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, and even Lewis Hamilton, the film is about the blood pumping sport of Formula One (in case you couldn’t have guessed from the title alone).

Written by Ehren Krueger, who also wrote Top Gun: Maverick (which was awesome), the film is scheduled for release on June 27, 2025.

The IMDB description reads: Follows a Formula One driver who comes out of retirement to mentor and team with a young driver.

Little else is known about this eagerly awaited sports drama, except for the fact that production has seen bigger delays than Sheikh Zayed Road during rush hour, but finally, the wheels appear to be spinning in full motion.

IWC Shaffhausen has announced its partnership with Apple Original films to produce the picture, the brand’s Pilot’s Watches featured on the wrists of different characters throughout the film. The film will be shot in and around actual Grand Prix races, such as the British Grand Prix, in Silverstone.

However, for film nerds, you’ll be thrilled to see Kim Bodnia starring alongside the Hollywood A-listers. For those of you unfamiliar with the name, Bodnia is a Danish actor who got his major start in Nicolas Winding Refn’s (director of Drive) feature debut, the 1996, low-budget gangster classic, Pusher, which was also the acting debut of Mads Mikkelsen.
