Dior is moving further into the world of art, having conscripted Daniel Arsham to create a series of limited-edition objects for Dior stores.
The sculptures build upon Arsham’s previous Future Relics series of items that were created for Kim Jones’ men’s display in Paris last year.
Among the limited edition items are the individual letters of Dior, alongside Arsham’s take on Christian Dior’s desk telephone and a clock. As is the artists signature, each object has been eroded to look like something out of archaeological history.

In addition, there is a sculpture of Dior’s 1951 nook, ‘Je Suis Couturier and a basketball bearing the Dior logo. Each piece comes in a conceptual box, that recall the old-fashioned wooden creates that were often used for special deliveries.

Dior has worked with artists such as Kaws, Hajime Sorayama and Raymond Pettibon, but this marks the first time that it has produced actual collectable objects.
