Chris Pine is currently on holiday in Capri, Italy, this week. And decided to get the Middle East’s attention by wearing what us here in the UAE will know as a thobe.
It’s a breath of fresh air from the thousands of Hawaiian shirt-clad masses currently taking over the world’s Instagram Feeds.
Pine was papped by photographers while traipsing cross rocks on the Italian coast and decided to reward the eagle-eyed photographers with Usain Bolt’s signature arm gesture.
We commend Chris Pine’s fashion sense this time around (unlike the time he turned up to ComicCon looking like a bowl of sorbet) as a thobe is probably the single greatest summer garment – the long, flowy fabric conveys effortless cool, and most importantly keeps, the netherregions well-ventilated.
