The recent return of Formula One to our screens has been very welcome indeed. With the season finally underway following a four-month delay due to the global-spanning impact of Covid-19, we’ll take the high-octane boost anyway that we can.
Following the opening two televised races in Austria, viewers will have noticed that members of each racing team are now required to wear masks in accordance with social distancing regulations. And while all teams are doing it, there are some teams that are doing so with more style than others. Notably Ferrari and McLaren.
Both stalwarts of F1 paddock, the two teams are also wearing masks designed by the same brand: U-Mask.
It’s a glowing seal of approval for the Italian-designed brand from two teams that put paramount importance on performance and technical innovation.
Tech-wise, U-Mask adopts a two-layer approach, with an outer shell hugging your face comfortably while a black insert does the hard work of keeping you safe and clean.
The exterior is made from recycled ocean plastic Econyl, and the interior FFP3-grade filter is both self-sanitizing and anti-proliferative, giving the mask a usage time up 200 hours.
If you’re looking for a stylish yet protective face mask, head over to U-Mask’s website for its Formula 1-approved Model Two now.
