McGregor says his next fight will take place here in the Middle East

Despite announcing his retirement (for the third time) Conor McGregor is now saying he’ll be back in the ring sometime in the next few months.

The Irish mixed martial artist says that he will be fighting WBA Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao next somewhere in the Middle East. According to McGregor’s manager Audie Attar, both sides are in serious talks and they are hoping for a deal for either late December 2020 or January 2021.

Back in 2017, McGregor faced Floyd Mayweather in a professional boxing match. He did better than expected (considering he is not a boxer) but ultimately lost the fight by TKO in Round 10.

McGregor also said that he has not turned his back on MMA just yet. He took to Twitter to share a conversation he had with UFC President Dana White about a mysterious event taking place in Los Angeles.
