Formula 1 fans have a reason to celebrate – there’s a new way to catch the whole 2020 season (and it costs next to nothing).
Don’t worry; it doesn’t involve doing anything dodgy, either.
This year F1 broadcast rights have gone to MBC Action, which means the entire season will be broadcast on cable TV.
Fortunately, MBC’s streaming service – Shahid VIP – lets you watch that channel via your browser, smartphone, desktop or smart TV.
If you pick up the service before March 22, you will pay just US$2.0 (AED7 per month – otherwise it defaults to AED20 per month/ or AED170 for the year).
That will let you tune in to all 22 of the races live (with Arabic commentary).
The 2020 Formula 1 season looks to be an exciting one, as Lewis Hamilton attempts to claim his seventh Driver’s Championship – which will mean he matches Michael Schumacher’s record of world championships.
But it’s not going to be an easy win.
The competition will be fierce this year, not least because it’s a big year for Daniel Ricciardo (who happens to be on the cover of Esquire’s March issue). He is betting that 2020 will be his year, and he’s got no shortage of confidence.
Find out why F1’s wild card is ready for the 2020 season.
For more information on the deal, and to check that you’re eligible, head to the MBC website.
