The decorated Olympian’s triumphant return airs early this afternoon

After dropping out of numerous events, Simone Biles is returning for the balance beam finals, her last event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

If you’re looking to catch the event, it’s airing today at 12:50 pm GST.

It’s airing exclusively on BeIN Sports in the region. Live stream it here.

Simone Biles, one of the most decorated gymnasts in Olympics history and perhaps the most recognizable star of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, dropped out of more than two events at the Olympic Games since July 27 as she continued to struggle with mental health issues.

The events that Biles withdrew from were the vault, floor exercise, and uneven bars.

Biles took to her Instagram on Friday to explain to her 6.1 million followers what exactly was going on—it’s called ‘the twisties’.

Biles explained she “literally can not tell up from down,” which affects her landings. “It’s the craziest feeling ever,” she added.

“I didn’t quit, my mind and body are simply not in sync,” she said.

“I don’t think you realize how dangerous this is on hard/competition surface,” she added. “Nor do I have to explain why I put health first. Physical health is mental health.”

However, the good news is that she is coming back for Tuesday’s balance beam event.

“We are so excited to confirm that you will see two U.S. athletes in the balance beam final tomorrow — Suni Lee AND Simone Biles!! Can’t wait to watch you both!” the USA Gymnastics said in a tweet.

Biles will make her last appearance at the 2020 Olympics Tuesday — and possibly her final gymnastics appearance ever?

This final event will be Biles’ last chance of going home with a gold medal from the Games.
