- The Air Jordan in game items will go live later today with update 9.10
- The Jordan brand will join Fortnite’s collaboration portfolio which contains the likes of NFL, Marvel and recently John Wick
Epic Games Fortnite has announced it is teaming up with the Air Jordan brand to create exclusive in-game items.
You can expect new skins – as well as shoes – for your character starting today.
The battle-royale superpower took to Twitter to tease the news with simply a goat emoji, along with a basketball, a sneaker and a red arrow emoji. The translation here is Michael Jordan – the G.O.A.T. of basketball – will be joining Fortnite in some fashion.

The game has had its fair share of success stories with collaborations. These include working with the NFL to celebrate last year’s Superbowl, a celebration that gave players new skins and a special game mode. Epic Games has also paired up with Marvel during its two huge Avengers movies. Very recently also there was a partnership with John Wick for the third iteration of the movie.
Nothing is 100 per cent concrete just yet, but Fortnite players can expect new skins, game modes, and potentially a more sporty game mode. The additions will become available with the 9.10 update coming today.
