Dubai’s ruler thanked the ‘unsung heroes’ for their act of kindness after a cat fell from a Dubai building

In the most remarkable video to come out of Dubai since a woman stood on top of the Burj Khalifa, a cat who was trapped on the outside of a building was saved by a group of men who used a sheet to catch the cat when it fell, saving its life.

It’s a joyful clip, and it’s brought joy across the UAE, even to HH Sheikh Mohammed, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who shared the clip on his social media late Tuesday night along with a caption.

“Proud and happy to see such acts of kindness in our beautiful city. Whoever identifies these unsung heroes, please help us thank them,” Sheikh Mohammed posted.

Sheikh Mohammed’s response has been shared over 1000 times since he posted it in English, and has been shared nearly 4,000 times in Arabic, with which he shared a similar caption.

The clip has been shared across the world, with many commenting on how the video restored their faith in humanity.

Sheikh Mohammed also announced a huge development for Hatta, which includes a waterfall, chairlift, new hiking trails and more. Read more here.
