Travelers from 10 other countries, including the US and UK, will also be allowed starting 1:00 am Saudi time Sunday

Visitors from the UAE are finally allowed to visit the neighboring Kingdom of Saudi Arabia once again.

Saudi Arabia lifted the entry ban from travellers from the UAE, along with 10 other countries on Saturday.

The ban lift goes into effect starting at 2:00 AM Sunday GST.

The 10 other countries from which visitors are now allowed into Saudi Arabia include Germany, the United States, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan and France.

Quarantine will still be enforced upon arrival.

Saudi Arabia has been on a steady recovery path from COVID-19, with cinemas and many public spaces now open after closing again earlier this year.

This marks a major milestone on that recovery path, as the two friendly countries are huge partners in terms of business and tourism.
