Tom Cruise might play a hero on screen, but he’s appears to be a covid-19 hero in real life, too.
The actor recently erupted on the set of Mission Impossible 7 last night, yelling at two members of the crew who were not practicing social distancing.
In an audio tape that was leaked from the set, Cruise went after two members of staff who were standing too close together in front of a computer monitor. He said, “if I see you do it again, you’re fuc*ing gone!”.
“We are the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us,” he went on to scream.
“Because they believe in us and what we’re doing. I’m on the phone with every fuc*ing studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies.”
“We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherfu*ers. I don’t ever want to see it again. Ever!”
“You can tell it to the people who are losing their fuc*ing homes because our industry is shut down, “Cruise continued.
“It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That’s what I sleep with every night—the future of this fuc*ing industry! So I’m sorry; I am beyond your apologies. I have told you, and now I want it, and if you don’t do it, you’re out. We are not shutting this fuc*ing movie down! Is it understood? If I see it again, you’re fuc*ing gone.”
Who knew Tom Cruise swore so much?
In March production on the latest Mission Impossible film was postponed, due to the coronavirus pandemic. It resumed in September, with Cruise spending US$700,000 of his own money to rent two huge boats as a ‘bubble’ for the film’s cast and crew.
The film is set to hit theatres on November 19, 2021 – assuming there are no more shutdowns, of course.
