Apple’s new iPhone shindig is over, and now we know exactly when the entire iPhone 12 range – including its Pro models – will arrive in the UAE.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max will officially be in stores across the country on November 13. However, you can pre-order a device on November 6.
The biggest iPhone shares basically everything with the regular iPhone 12 Pro except for its screen. The new model will have a larger 6.7-inch screen, that Apple says is now 4-times hardier than any previous model.
Elsewhere you get a more streamlined design that looks similar to Apple’s old iPhone 4 and newer iPad Air and iPad Pro models, and the new Apple A14 Bionic processor (that is 50 per cent faster than previous chips).
It also comes with 5G connectivity, and some smart Apple technology that will maximise those wireless speeds without draining your battery.
As its ‘Pro’ monicker suggests, the iPhone 12 Pro models are all about those cameras; the Pro Max is no different with three cameras and support for LiDAR. You get an improved wideangle, a two-times telephoto lens as well as a regular lens with better low-light response and optical image stabilization.
And later on in the year, the iPhone 12 Pro will get Apple’s new ProRAW format which will allow you to edit your photos with far more control.
Oh, and it also comes in a few fresh new colours: graphite, silver, gold and pacific blue.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max will cost AED4,399 when it arrives in stores on November 13. Pre-orders begin on November 6.
