Cold weather is almost here as rain looks likely this weekend

As rainfall is expected to hit the Emirates later ths week, the weather forecast today is looking light and breezy (well, for the UAE anyway).

According to the UAE’s weather department, Tuesday will be cool, wet and windy. It will be partly cloudy over scattered areas around the country, with the chance of convective clouds over the norther and eastern areas. For those without a degree in weather, convective clouds are more commonly referred to as rain clouds.

Yes, the rainy season might indeed arrive early today.

The minimum forecast for today is 19°C with a maximum at 41°C. You can expoect light to moderate winds, freshening at times. The main issue with the wind will be dust.

The sea is expected to be moderate and rough. So if you do surf, best grab your board for some early morning waves all this week.
