Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury is about to get his very own show.
Disney+ has purportedly greenlit a new television series starring the MCU character. While it is not expected to air for at least 18-months, Kyle Bradstreet – of Mr Robot fame – is attached to write and executive produce the series.
The show is undoubtedly being kept quiet until Marvel’s three other shows get underway after being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Currently, Disney+ has WandaVision, The Falcon and Winter Soldier, as well as Loki all waiting at the wings.
Disney has confirmed what’s coming next, however. Alongside this mystery Nick Fury series will sit She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, Hawkeye and Moon Knight.
Jackson first played Nick Fury in the post-credits scene from Iron Man in 2008. Ever since, he tends to show up to move the plot along. Most recently, he played the character in Spider-Man: Far from Home.
