Apple’s next big shindig will take place digitally on September 15

Apple has said its next big gadget shindig will take place on September 15.

The technology firm is expected to launch an array of goodies in time for the holiday season, including the next generation iPhone (which should come with 5G tech) as well as a new Apple Watch, and maybe even some new iPads.

It is thought that Apple could use this time to showcase its new laptops made with Apple silicon. However, it’s thought that Apple will decide to keep its laptops and PCs separate for another event.

The launch event is taking place one week behind Apple’s usual release schedule, and it is thought that new iPhone will be delayed by a few weeks due to supply chain issues caused by the global pandemic.

The invitation is open to everyone. The event – which will take place at 17:00 GMT (that is 20:00 UAE time) – will be livestreamed via Apple’s website.
