Asus has pulled the wraps of its new line of Zenbook laptops that shall be hitting shelves this fall.
While each model varies, they do share some similarities; namely that they are all pretty light, back fantastic displays, Thunderbolt 4 ports (over their slower counterparts) and run on Intel’s 11th generation processors.
Here’s our pick of the bunch.
Asus ZenBook S
The Zenbook S is Asus’ flagship. You get portability and power here, as the laptop weighs just 1.3kg (which is a couple hundred grams away from a MacBook Air). You get a 13.9-inch screen, which goes up to 500 nits (that’s bright).
As mentioned, it runs on either Intel’s next-generation Core i5 or Core i7, and can fit up to 16GB of RAM. It also packs quick-charging technology, and will go from zero to 60 per cent in just under 50 minutes.
Asus ZenBook Flip S
Asus says that the Flip S is the thinnest two-in-one laptop with an OLED screen. It’s similar to the ZenBook above, except that it’s a tad lighter at 1.15kg. It can be configured with either a 4K OLED display, or a 1080p one. It too supports the latest Intel processors.
Asus ZenBook 14
Asus’ workhorse laptop comes in a few different variations, the most exciting of which comes with a 5.6-inch touchscreen (called a ScreenPad) where the trackpad should be. That display doubles as your mouse, but you can also use it to multitask (such as watching YouTube videos while ‘pretending’ to do work).
Elsewhere, you get a 14-inch IPS display, the token Thunderbolt ports, Intel’s next-gen processors and Nvidia MX450 graphics.
The ZenBook 14 will be out in November.
ZenBook Pro 15
Okay, we lied. Not all of Asus’ new Zenbook will run on Intel’s next-generation of processors. Still, the new ZenBook Pro is plenty powerful for content creators.
It is one of the smallest 15-inchers to rock and OLED display, and it comes with that ScreenPad. It also rocks support for Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti graphics.
Oh, and it rocks a full-sized SD card reader which is quickly becoming a rarity in today’s dongle-filled world.
The ZenBook Pro 15 will be out in October.
