Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have signed a huge deal with streaming giant Netflix.
The pair – who quit the British royal family to move to sunny California – have multiple projects in development, but the move to Netflix is their biggest.
At present, Meghan Markle has no plans to return to acting.
Some of the first projects they intend to look at are a nature documentary series, as well as an animated series focused on inspiring women. The couple say they are looking for impactful content that will lead to viewers taking action.
While no financial details were revealed – as that would be very uncouth for a pair of young royals – the deal is reportedly a multi-year and multi-picture deal all exclusive to Netflix.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently moved to Santa Barbara. They now live next to Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.
This won’t be the first time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have dipped their royal toes into the world of documentaries. Harry recently appeared in a Paralympics documentary called ‘Rising Phoenix’, while Markle has narrated a wildlife documentary for Disney.
