A few Dubai restaurants are slowly opening up their doors, keeping in mind the restrictions put in place by the government to stop the transmission of coronavirus.
This follows the announcement by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management on Friday, April 24 regarding the partial reduction in restrictions on movement in Dubai during Ramadan.
However, the rules are clear. Masks need to be worn at all times by staff. Adults over the age of 60 and kids aged between three and 12 are not permitted to dine in at Dubai restaurants. There’s even a cap on the number of hours diners can stay in the restaurants. Dining time must not exceed three hours. There musta also be a distance of two metres between tables.
Here are the Dubai restaurants that are now open:
Netsu Dubai, Mandarin Oriental
The Japanese Steakhouse will operate five days a week (Tuesday – Saturday) from 6:30pm to 10pm in line with the government’s recent safety restrictions and guidelines on dine-in services. Netsu will offer an à la carte dinner menu featuring the restaurant’s most loved dishes in addition to a special Warayaki Iftar menu priced at AED 250 per person from sunset to 8:30pm.
The London Project, Bluewaters
Located on Bluewater’s Island, Dubai, the botanical restaurant will open its doors for diners from the 7th May and will be serving up a brand-new menu. Offering a 30% capacity, it has uninterrupted views of The Beach and JBR.

SUQ Restaurant, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach
Iftar is available daily from sunset to 9:00 pm from May 1 to 24, 2020 and is priced at AED 180 per person.

Amazonico Dubai
Amazónico Dubai, the stylish rainforest-inspired restaurant and bar located in DIFC, has officially reopened.
LPM Restaurant & Bar
LPM reopened at the end of April for dine-in guests. However, the French restaurant will continue its popular delivery service, while also providing an Iftar delivery service. The restaurant will be open from noon to 10pm daily.
Kayto
Jumeirah Al Naseem’s Kayto is back with its dine-in services, allowing its diners to enjoy the nearby views of the Burj Al Arab. The pop-up will offer its culinary experiences from 6pm onwards.
La Cantine du Faubourg
The DIFC based restaurant is welcoming guests from 12PM to 9:30 PM daily, as well as offering its services on Deliveroo for takeaway.
Coya, Four Seasons Dubai
Coya Dubai will be open from 12:30pm to 10pm, with capacity set to 30%.
Trattoria Toscana
Italian eatery at Souk Madinat Jumeriah, Trattoria Toscana has returned. For Ramadan, the venue has launched a DIY Iftar promotion for two. The rustic eatery is open from 12pm to 10pm daily.
The Duck Hook
Its menu includes fish and chips, scotch eggs and a roast dinner. It is open from 6:30am to 10pm daily.
Shimmers
Shimmers in Mina A’Salam will reopen its doors following a major refurbishment project. The Greek venue will be open throughout the day from 12pm onwards.
Seafire Steakhouse & Bar
Seafire Steakhouse & Bar has resumed dinner service from 5pm to 9pm.
Rockfish, Jumeirah Al Naseem
Rockfish will operate for lunch from 12:30pm to 3:30pm and then from 5pm onwards.
Olea
With a Levantine menu, dishes hail from all across the region, including Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon, the venue has also rolled out its own Iftar experience. The venue is open from 6:30pm to 9pm.
Nobu
Nobu has resumed its dinner service. With an eponymous Michelin star-winning chef behind the venue, dishes include miso black cod, sushi and sashimi and a range of other takes on Japanese cuisine. It will be open from 6pm to 9pm.
