Rapper 2 Chainz will not re-open the doors to his Atlanta restaurants, instead using supplies and staff to help feed the homeless.
Previously, Chainz announced that his restaurants would re-open after Georgia government officials lifted the social distancing restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
However, he has decided to keep the doors to his Escobar Restaurant and Tapas outlets closed in an effort to feed the homeless. The rapper tweeted a short clip, showing a number of Atlanta residents lining up outside one of his restaurants welcoming his goodwill.

Snoop Dillard, 2 Chainz’s business partner, said, “After careful consideration, we are not going to open our restaurants on Monday. It has not officially been decided when we will start having dine-in service,” he told TMZ.
2 Chainz and Dillard are just a few people within the hip hop community who are doing their part amidst the pandemic.
Future has donated more than 100,000 masks to healthcare workers via his foundation FreeWishes. Birdman has said he will start paying rent for fellow New Orleans residents. Cardi B is supporting a FashionNova pledge to give away US$1,000 dollars every hour (up until US$1 million) until the pandemic is under control.
Elsewhere, Jay-Z and Meek Mill have donated more than 130,000 surgical masks to help stop the spread of coronavirus to frontline workers and those in correctional facilities. Jay-Z has also pledged US$1 million towards COVID-19 relief efforts, and in response to his gesture Rihanna promised to match him another million.
