Astronaut shares rare photos of Dubai from space

For most of us one Earth, being able to see our beautiful planet from space is all but a dream. So when the few astronauts who do get to appreciate the beauty of planet Earth share a few pictures, we collectively go nuts.

Nasa astronaut Chris Cassidy shared the images of Dubai’s distinctive Palm Jumeirah fronds and the World islands. The picturs were taken from the International Space Station.

He also shared a tribute to Emirati astronauts Hazza al Mansouri and Sultan Al Neyadi.
