The coronavirus outbreak has spread to every country around the world, and there are more than 300,000 reported cases. That has prompted many fashion brands to re-tool their factories in affected countires such as Italy, Spain and China, to create protective masks and hospital gowns.

It’s no surprise that given shortages, people want to protect themselves and loved ones – and that has prompted some people to turn to weird ways to protect themselves.
We have put together some of the more peculiar ways people are trying to protect themselves, and it really shows how inventive some people can be.
On a serious note, none of these creative solutions work as effective medical equipment. If you don’t have any medically-approved masks, then stay at home.
