From Britney Spears to Bono: “Andrà Tutto bene” – everything will be all right

If you’re in self-imposed self-isolation, give a little thought to those legally quarantined around the world. While we’re all happy to have the possibility of working from home, many Italians have been under complete lockdown for the last few weeks.

Italy is facing the largest coronavirus outbreak outside of China, with nearly 30,000 illnesses and 2,100 deaths reported so far. While the virus has devastated communities, here’s looking at the silver lining. Many quarantined Italians in the “red zone” are taking to their balconies for some fresh air and for a bit of song and dance.

These videos shared on social media will break your heart a little but also remind of the indomitible Italian spirit of “Andrà Tutto Bene” or everything will be all right.

Check out the Opera singer in Milan. He will definitely blow you away.

Some Italians are also forming an impromtu quarantine band on their balconies.

I’m definitely not crying right now…

Even U2 frontman Bono has come out of retirement and has performed his first new music since 2017 with a song inspired by Italians quarantined during the coronavirus outbreak.

Anybody up for an open air balcony concert in Dubai Marina? You know where to find me.
