Who let the penguins out?!

Tired of all the depressing and anxiety attack inducing news surrounding Covid-19? Well, don’t worry, we’ve got a feel good story for you. As a direct result of the pandemic, public places around the world are closing to humans including national monuments, museums, and zoos.

Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, let the penguins out to explore seeing as no humans were being allowed to visit. This is probably the best thing you will see on the internet today.

The little guuys are seen

“Without guests in the building, caretakers are getting creative in how they provide enrichment to animals,” the aquarium told the Chicago Tribune.

“Introducing new experiences, activities, foods and more to keep them active, encourage them to explore, problem-solve and express natural behaviors.”

While it’s unclear if the zoo will let any of the other animals out, they’ve said that the penguins will return on their social media feeds.
