Coronavirus or Covid-19 has crippled the world. Ever since the first outbreak was reported in Wuhan, China, governments and health organisations have been in a race to contain the deadly virus that has seen over 190,000 infected and more than 7,000 dead.
Outside of China, Italy has been the hardest hit nation in Europe, and is under total lockdown for the last few weeks.
Filmmakers in Milan, Italy, have now made a compilation video of Italians on lockdown talking to their selves from 10 days ago about the coronavirus.
Many wish they had agreed to directives encouraging them to stay inside and practice social distancing before it became enforced
Why is this so relevant? Many scientists believe that Germany, Spain, France, United States and the United Kingdom are at the point that Italy was at 10 days ago.
France, Spain and Germany are about 9 to 10 days behind Italy in #COVID19 progression; the UK and the US follow at 13 to 16 days. In Italy we waited too long, these countries should really start implementing aggressive containment measures now. pic.twitter.com/xL7jUczpmY

In the video that now has over 3.4 million, one young Italian says, “My friends and I were almost mocking the few people who believed the issue was serious from the get-go”.
