Christian Bale is confirmed as the bad guy in Thor: Love and Thunder, but new leaked pictures from the set of Loki may have just revealed his character in the film.
Loki is the standalone series coming to Disney+, featuring everyone’s favorite god of mischief played by Tom Hiddleston.
Over the years, Thor has boasted an all-star cast of characters, including Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Jeff Goldblum and Cate Blanchett.
Leaked pictures have revealed that Christian Bale’s entry into the Marvel MCU will be as Dario Agger, aka Minotaur.
How do we know?
The first set pictures from Loki show a bus named “Roxxcart Evacuation Shuttle” on the side.
Photos have already revealed that Loki will be working with the TVA (Time Variance Authority), which makes sense as they routinely go up against the Roxxon Energy Corporation, and its CEO… Dario Agger.
Now this isn’t the first time the Roxxon Energy Corporation has been involved in a Marvel movie. The company’s logo appeared in Iron Man 2 (during the Formula 1 scene) while some of its staff played minor roles in Iron Man 3.
The company has also appeared in Agents of SHIELD, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Agent Carter and Cloak and Dagger.
While Roxxon Energy Corporation is very much earthbound – and we last saw Thor heading into space with the Guardians of the Galaxy – Agger’s comic book history lies with Jane Foster.
His character has super strength and can transform into a horned monster, and is one of Jane Foster’s (who becomes the God of Thunder after proving she is worthy to wield Mjolnir).
It is thought that perhaps the introduction of Dario Agger as Minotaur, would allow Marvel to introduce more Greek Gods like Hercules and Zeus into the MCU fray.
