Watch the “world exclusive” performance

Billie Eilish has just performed her new James Bond theme song No Time to Die live for the first time ever at the Brit Awards 2020 in London.

Eilish recently became the youngest ever artist to sing a James Bond theme song. The hottest young artist on the music scene right now, Eilish also took homt the big four awards at the Grammys in 2020.

She was joined for the performance by her brother Finneas, who co-wrote the song alongside her and on stage were guitarist Johnny Marr and film composer Hans Zimmer.

What do we know about the new theme song?

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor,” Eilish said in a statement. “James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

The slow tune is haunting and begins with just Eilish and her accompanying piano. The lyrics, however, give more of a hint to the 007 agent’s journey in the movie. Eilish sings of him “falling for a lie” and a possible romantic betrayal that’s been teased in many a tralier for the new film.

Apparently, Daniel Craig has a big hand in if the song goes in the ew movie or not.

Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell told “BBC Breakfast” that James Bond Daniel Craig, must like it, for it to get the go-ahead.

“He had to like it. If Daniel doesn’t like it, you don’t get the job.”
