It’s that time of the year again. Masses of red rose are en-route and men and women are planning special outings for their significant others. If you’re looking for that perfect OTT experience then Argentinian steakhouse Gaucho Dubai has launched one of the most extravagant Valentine’s Day experiences in the city.
For AED250,000 the DIFC venue is offering a ‘Diamond Dining’ package that will offer the ultimate wedding proposal. It starts with the couple being picked up in a chauffeur driven Bentley to enjoy a seven-course meal with rare vintage wine pairings in Gaucho’s exclusive private dining room.
The candlelit table will be surrounded by 300 red roses from Maison de Fleurs and will have 2002 Boerl & Kroff champagne on ice.
Gaucho’s general manager Juan Pablo said: “We at Gaucho appreciate how nerve-wracking creating the perfect wedding proposal can be so, we wanted to take some of the pressure away from guests and assist in creating what is a very special memory. We love hosting and we especially love creating lasting moments for our guests. Valentine’s Day is always a fantastic night to be in the restaurant and we wanted to take it to another level with our exclusive one off ‘diamond dining’ experience.”
While they enjoy dinner, the couple will be presented with his and hers Rolex Datejust watches, engraved Gaucho steak knives, and a 1.5 carat Pave Diamond engagement ring from Tiffany & Co.
For the regular folks, Gaucho has a special four-course set menu on Valentine’s Day for AED500.
