Brad Pitt has been in the spolight since the release of his new Quentin Tarantino directed movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Now, with another big release out soon, Ad Astra, the Hollywood A-lister has been giving quite a few media interviews.
In one such interview, Pitt has revealed that he’s not a big fan of US President Donald Trump.
In an interview with French newspaper Journal du Dimanche, the actor was asked his feelings about a new Trump-suggested tarriff, the actor said that it was indicative of how big a threat the President is to more issues than just export fees.
“Unfortunately, it’s almost anecdotal. Trump represents a much bigger threat on such more serious issues,” he said.
Pitt has been pretty outspoken on a number of things from Brexit to Harvey Weinstein.
While discussing the Manson family murders in an interview with The Sunday Times, Brad Pitt compared the cultural impact of the Harvey Weinstein scandal to the Manson family murders.
When asked if there’s been a scandal or incident since that has hit Hollywood as much as the Manson murders did, Pitt told the Sunday Times: ‘Harvey Weinstein.’
He said: ‘Is that bad taste? It’s more that I think we’re getting recalibrated. But [this time] in a good way.’
We’re liking this new outspoken side of Brad Pitt. Hopefully he’s here to stay.
