US President Donald Trump has set Twitter ablaze once again after he tweeted that he “cancelled” a secret meeting at Camp David with Taliban and Afghan leaders after a suspected Taliban attack.
In a barrage of tweets Trump said: “Unbeknownst to almost everyone, the major Taliban leaders and, separately, the President of Afghanistan, were going to secretly meet with me at Camp David on Sunday,”
….an attack in Kabul that killed one of our great great soldiers, and 11 other people. I immediately cancelled the meeting and called off peace negotiations. What kind of people would kill so many in order to seemingly strengthen their bargaining position? They didn’t, they….

….only made it worse! If they cannot agree to a ceasefire during these very important peace talks, and would even kill 12 innocent people, then they probably don’t have the power to negotiate a meaningful agreement anyway. How many more decades are they willing to fight?

Trump has come under intense criticism for his secret meeting revelation after archived tweets have emerged of him attacking the Obama goverment for negotiating with the Taliban in 2012.
Breathtaking. There’s always a Trump tweet, Taliban editon. pic.twitter.com/NDVidFwOGz

Twitter since then has teared into the US President for hosting the meeting three days before the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attcks in New York.
Trump canceled a meeting with Denmark because he was upset at how they rebuffed his idea to sell Greenland to the USA, but actually invited the leaders of the Taliban to meet with him at Camp David just days before 9/11?
Just think about how insane that is.

“How to #MAGA”
by Donald J Trump.Step 1—Ban Muslims “until we know what’s going on.”
Step 2—Invite the #Taliban to Camp David right before 9/11.
Step 3—Deport Marines who were injured fighting the Taliban.
Step 4—Say “I don’t know” a few times.
Step 5—#Sharpie everything.

If Donald Trump is admitting to a version of the story that involves him inviting the Taliban to Camp David during 9/11 and getting a U.S. soldier killed in the process, imagine how much uglier the real story must be.

It's good that Donald Trump learned who the Taliban is.
It's not a great sign that he didn't until over 2.5 years into his presidency. pic.twitter.com/hLRhgt05g9— Nicholas Grossman (@NGrossman81) September 8, 2019
NBC News reports that around 2,400 Americans have been killed in Afghanistan. There are still about 14,000 US troops in the country.
