The Jonas Brothers are currently busy touring the world, but that didn’t stop them from making a pit stop to visit a sick fan.
Fan Lily Jordan, 16, was supposed to attend the Jonas’ shindig in Hershey, Pennsylvania, but then learned she would miss it due to chemotherapy treatment. Jokingly, she invited the band to visit her instead.
“I was supposed to be at your Hershey concert tomorrow, but instead I’m across the street doing chemo,” Lily wrote with a selfie on Instagram.
“If y’all wanted to pop in I’ll give you my room number.”
Her followers slowly shared the post and began tagging the brothers Jonas, right up until it went viral. The campaign even attracted the eye of a Pennsylvania State representative.
The Jonas Brothers saw the post and – being the good guys they are – stopped by the hospital to surprise Lily shortly before the show, and Nick even brought along his wife, Priyanka Chopra.
“Thank you for inviting us to come to see you,” Kevin Jonas told Lily in a video posted taken at the hospital. The singer then admitted that his entire Facebook feed was full of request for the band to visit her.
“Wow. The power of social media you guys. YOU did this. YOU made my crappy chemo session into something incredibly special and unforgettable,” Lily wrote on social media after the visit.
“Literally made my life,” she added.
