The woman of the moment is definitely Ana de Armas. Having snagged the coveted ‘Bond girl’ role in Bond 25 or ‘No Time to Die’ opposite Daniel Craig and Rami Malek, de Armas has now set her sights on the iconic role portraying Marilyn Monroe in Andrew Dominik’s adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates’ novel Blonde.
‘Blonde’ narrates Monroe’s life and follows her big Hollywood break and subsequent transformation intoone of the biggest names of the twentieth century.
Dominik previously told Collider that Blonde “will be one of the ten best movies ever made,” explaining that “it’s a film about the human condition.
While de Armas hasn’t confirmed the news, she’s posted a not so subtle tribute to Monroe on her Instagram.
