As part of the ongoing quest to make the UAE as prosperous and modern as possible, Abu Dhabi and Dubai have discussed how to move the country forward.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces this week.
Their Highnesses discussed everything ensuring the needs of Emiratis are met across all emirates to talking about the sustainable development of the UAE. The pair also discussed the country’s global stature and how it can become even stronger.
According to WAM:
H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, was present at the meeting.
Also attending were Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department.
The meeting comes soon after Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed went to China to enter talks with Chinese president Xi Jinping. It is hoped their meeting will result in improved trade relations between China and the UAE.
The meeting also comes right after Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid visited the Expo 2020 Dubai site and shared his optimism for the success and meaningfulness of the event.
