Gucci reigns supreme once again. Well, at least in Q2 2019, according to Lyst, a quarterly index on the hottest fashion brands in the world.
Gucci has dethroned Off-White in the Q2 rankings and it’s no surprise that the brand is back on top. It has been on a roll these past couple of months. The brand helmed by Alessandro Michele debuted its Cruise collection, unveiled a new technology allowing customers to virtually try on sneakers, and saw 20% revenue growth. Michele also served as co-chair for the Met Gala.
In second place is Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White and Balenciaga in third. Balenciaga became the fastest-growing brand in couture and leather goods. The label unveiled the Track 2 sneakers and pledged to provide two full four-year scholarships to the Pratt Institute Black Alumni organisation.
