Tesla will soon be able to stream videos in their cars on digital platforms such as YouTube and Netflix. They have already previously introduced games drivers can play once the car is completely parked, as stirring wheel is used as a controller.
Similarly to games, you’ll soon be able to enjoy movies and your favourite shows, however it will only be possible whenever the vehicle is parked.
This new feature will allow you to enjoy anything you would like to watch in the comfort of your own car, giving it a cinematic feel due to comfortable seating and great speakers.
Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, further explained the new feature.
“Ability to stream YouTube and Netflix when car is stopped coming to your Tesla soon! Has an amazingly immersive, cinematic feel due to the comfy seats & surround sound audio,” said Musk.
This new feature is quite a cool one. But it’s not a surprsing development at all.
Teslas are getting closer to becoming completely driverless vehicles, which means the company is adding and improving in-car entertainment features designed to be enjoyed by everyone in the car, including the driver.
