The literal partners in crime have teamed up again for a mysterious joint Instagram post

Want to know something crazy? It’s been almost six years since the Breaking Bad finale aired. Still though it is one of the most talked about and celebrated TV shows to this day. People who still need a hit though may be in luck as the Breaking Bad movie could be around the corner.

Bryan Cranston aka Walter White and Aaron Paul aka Jessie Pinkman just took to Instagram to tease Breaking Bad fans.

What’s the teaser? It’s just a picture of two donkeys. ‘HOWEVER’ it’s posted with the caption ‘Soon’. Not only this, but the fact that both Paul and Cranston posted this at similar times is making the internet explode.

In just 12 hours, the posts combined have over 200,000 likes.

Previously speaking on the project, Cranston said that “It’s a great story and there are a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to some of these storylines that were left open [in the series finale].” He continued, “This idea, from what I’m told, gets into those — at least a couple of the character show were not completed, as far as their journey.”

Spoiler alert for Breaking Bad.

Those completions he’s talking about almost definitely will cover the journey of Jessie, whom we last saw escaping from the Neo-Nazi compound and went off in a car to start a new life. A lot of the big characters died though, Walt, Mike, Lydia and many others were all killed off. Maybe we’ll see a plot in this looming film around Skylar and her family life following the death of Walt. Her screen time finished with her learning the burial site of Hank, so maybe something will happen there. As for Saul Goodman, we know from his own spin-off show that he gained a new identity and works in a mall. Perhaps Jessie could pay him a visit still.

You’ll notice a lot of “perhaps” and “maybe”, when all you’re given is a picture of some donkeys, you have to make some guesses on what the film could be about.

Soon.
