The biographical movie documentary will hit TV screens a full week before the film itself is set to debut

  • The special is set to air exclusively on the Paramount Channel and Comedy Central

  • It will be on Paramount at midnight on June 6th and 10:30pm on June 7th on Comedy Central

Paramount Studios ‘Rocketman’ documentary is set to be seen by TV audiences a full week before the film itself is in cinemas, this is thanks to an exclusive airing on the Paramount Channel and Comedy Central.

Those in the Middle East and North Africa can enjoy the 22-minute special on June 6th at midnight UAE on the Paramount Channel or on the 7th at 10:30pm UAE on Comedy Central.

It is an exclusive, showing never before seen footage of the making of the film. 

The film is a biographical musical with a touch of fantasy, it is based on the life of the musician Elton John. The film tells the story of his early breakthrough years, showing his transformation into the character of Elton, who is played by Taron Egerton.

‘Rocketman’ also stars Jamie Bell as Elton’s longtime lyricist and writing partner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden as Elton’s first manager, John Reid, Bryce Dallas Howard as Elton’s mother Sheila Farebrother and Gemma Jones as Ivy, Elton’s grandmother.
