This is not an April fool’s joke. We repeat, not a joke. While it seems like the summer is well and truly underway in Dubai, Saudi Arabia just saw it’s first snowfall of the year.
Jabal Al-Lawz in Tabuk Province was covered in snow. and by the evening the mountain was covered in a white blanket.
Located near the Jordanian border and at the site of the new NEOM mega project, citizens rushed to the area to enjoy the freakish weather. Social media was awash with videos and picture of residents and tourists enjoying a full on snow day.

Arab News reported that the temperature in the area dropped below 9C.
