Barbara Palvin is the latest model to join the Victoria’s Secret Angel family. She first walked down the runway for Prada in 2010 during their Milan Fashion Week show.
Since then, she has walked for a number of fashion houses including Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, and Chanel.
She was born and raised in Hungary before she was discovered walking down the street in 2006.
“I was walking on the street with my mother in Budapest, near where I live, when Balazs, who’s now my manager , saw me. He asked me if I could go to their office and took some test photos. Then I started modeling,” she told W Magazine.
Palvin is part of the star-studded IMG roster that also includes Gigi and Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin. She was named as the beauty ambassador for Giorgio Armani in September last year, and waled her second Victoria’s Secret Show in 2018. She made her debut walking for the brand in 2012.
The Hungarian model has 10.9 million followers on her Instagram account.
The brand has recieved a lot of positive feedback after they posted a recent picture of Palvin on their Instagram account. Social media users have spoken out about the image for being more body-inclusive.
