There are some restaurants so good that you can’t even book a table there.
That is true for Alici, but mainly because this classy Dubai-based Italian seafood restaurant is yet to open its doors, and instead hosted a private invite-only sneak preview of what is soon to come.
Opening in early 2019, in the brand new Bluewater development on the Dubai coast, the slick and stylish Alici restaurant is already building quite the reputation for itself. Well, that is certainly the case with its exclusive preview lunch on Day Two of the Esquire Townhouse.

Crisp, light and flavourful dishes are the call of the menu that looks at championing deeply rooted Italian seafood dishes. A particular favourite from the crowd was the octopus with lentils, showing the rest of the country just how simple food should be done.
